Scripts for Cistron RADIUS daemon.
-
buffer.pl-2.1 -
Script to read accounting records from a named pipe and
write them to a parser program. It handles a parser
blocking or crashing.
Patches for Cistron RADIUS daemon. Most of these are against version
1.6.7 (CVS version as of 2003-04-10). Some of them may depend on
others, although the dependencies are usually just in the Makefile (and
can be manually fixed easily). They are listed in the order I apply
them.
-
radiusd-cistron-1.6-path.patch -
Allow base paths to be set in the Makefile or on the
make command line; makes it easier to build portable
RPMs.
-
radiusd-cistron-1.6-rhl.patch -
Update the Red Hat RPM spec file, init script, and other
config files to be more like the current "Red Hat way"
of doing things. This requires the above path patch.
-
radiusd-cistron-1.6-ascend_filter.patch -
Add Ascend abinary support for Ascend-Data-Filter
attributes.
-
radiusd-cistron-1.6-realm-nocase.patch -
Add a "nocase" option in the realms file to make realm
comparison case insensitive.
-
radiusd-cistron-1.6-crypt16.patch -
Support 16 character DES encrypted passwords (like from
Digital Unix).
-
radiusd-cistron-1.6-read_config.patch -
Automatically re-read config files (users, realms,
clients, huntgroups, hints, naslist) whenever they are
changed without the need to send a HUP signal.
Note: This doesn't work for $INCLUDEd files (only the
base file is checked, not any $INCLUDEd files).
-
radiusd-cistron-1.6-dbfile.patch -
Use a Berkeley DB hash file for authentication
(including groups). Use an entry like:
DB-File = "passwd.db", Auth-Type = DB-File
in the check items to use that file, or something like:
DB-File = "passwd.db", Group = "Mailbox", Auth-Type = Reject
to reject based on the groups in the DB file. The format is
like the Apache auth_db file format: key is username, value
is encrypted password, a colon, then a comma separated
list of groups.
-
radiusd-cistron-1.6-ascend_dictionary.patch -
Update the dictionary files to include additional Ascend
values.
-
radiusd-cistron-1.6.3-osfsia.patch -
Not tested lately:
Do OSF/1 (Digital Unix) Security Integration Architecture
authentication properly (to handle locked/expired
accounts, etc.).
If you have any questions about any of these, let me know at

of slow at responding to email sometimes, so please be patient.
